What to expect
Your first visit, and what comes next
Initial visit
Your initial consultation with the naturopathic doctor is typically one hour long. This hour is used to gather information about your health goals, lifestyle, medical and family history. A treatment plan is devised and a plan is provided. Laboratory testing, blood work, and/or functional testing may be used as part of your plan, when necessary.
Follow-up visits
Follow-ups range in duration but typically last 30 minutes to allow for comprehensive follow-up on the treatment plan and provide new treatments as is necessary. Follow-up frequency also varies, based on your condition and treatment plan requirements. These variables will be outlined by your naturopathic doctor.
